For most all my years as a photographer, I channeled my expressions through imagery. I felt comfortable behind the camera, allowing the images to say its “thousand words”.
However, many things changed after my wife passed away. During my time creating this collection, I found that by focusing on the cross of Christ, I was allowing Jesus to focus on me. I followed the prompting of the spirit to share the gospel through the written word, I then began the process of sharing these messages verbally.
To do so, I reflected on the realizations, edifications, and epiphanies I received while spending countless hours at the foot of that white wooden cross. My intention as a speaker is to transmit what I felt while capturing and contemplating the message of the cross. In a world of constant chaos, it is the protection, purpose, and peace of the cross that never changes.

After shooting the cross for a few years, I toured a gallery show and published a book titled What the Cross Means to Me by Harvest House Publishing. My newest book, Views of Calvary is set to release in the fall of 2022.
Each chapter is rounded out by a quote from a Saint or an excerpt from an old church hymn
